True friends right there.

Great memories are made when spending time with your friends.
I like this photo because it’s fun. The animation makes it lively, and the sentence to go along with it really connects well with what they’re trying to say: “We make memories with our friends.”

Friends fight for you when you are in battle. They support you throughout the whole time. I like this picture a lot because it represented friendship at it’s best: support and caring.

I miss you. I miss our friendship. I feel like you disappeared. What happened to us, what happened to us being sisters? I feel lost and broken, how did this happen
My comments:
Sometimes friends fight. This is some of the thoughts we think when they’re not around anymore. We feel lost without our friends.

I like this quote because it’s unexpected.
A friend really does make something more exciting just because you’re with them to have fun with.
“Those two are joined at the hip”
“Have you ever heard someone say ‘those two are joined at the hip’? Of course, it doesn’t mean that two people are really connected- it’s an expression meaning that two people are such good friends, they can always be found hanging out with each other.”

This was an excerpt that I found at the beginning of a book I’ve had since I was about 10. I think it was a great way to start off a book about friendship and different activities you can do with your friend.
I like the expression “Those two are joined at the hip” because it symbolizes how close people can be and how they connect with each other when it comes to socializing.
Friendship development through childhood
In a 1974 study,[9] Bigelow and La Gaipa, in one of the first studies conducted regarding children’s friendships, found that expectations of a best friend become increasingly complex as a child gets older. The study investigated the criteria for “best friend” in a sample of 480 children between the ages of six and fourteen years of age.
Their findings highlighted three stages of the development of friendship expectations.
- First stage: emphasised shared activities and the importance of geographical closeness.
- Second stage: emphasised sharing, loyalty and commitment.
- Third stage: revealed growing importance of similar attitudes, values and interests.

I thought this was a neat piece of information. That fact that they did a study of friendship really shows how important it is, and the fact that we want to learn the psychological side that we don’t know as much about when compared to the actually feeling of it.

I think that this was thought out really well. Because, in truth, friends really do that! They help you feel better by lessening the pain and making you feel better by telling a joke or making you happier. I think it was a smart way to word this.
A Poem by Angela Lee Hillsley
You are friendly, kind and caring
Sensitive, loyal and understanding
Humorous, fun, secure and true
Always there… yes that’s you.
Special, accepting, exciting and wise
Truthful and helpful, with honest blue eyes
Confiding, forgiving, cheerful and bright
Yes that’s you… not one bit of spite.
You’re one of a kind, different from others
Generous, charming, but not one that smothers
Optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
But not just another… in the long chain.
Appreciative, warm and precious like gold
Our friendship won’t tarnish or ever grow old
You’ll always be there, I know that is true
I’ll always be here… always for you.

I like this poem because it lists the different word that describe a friend very well. I like the structure of the poem because it listed a few things, then at the end of the stanza, it actually referred to someone, and didn’t just talk about a friend.
I like how in the last stanza, they used gold as a simile for a friend. Gold is something valuable, and that you keep with you.
I was going through Twitter and found this tweet. I like how it is both a rhyme and two awesome similes. The thing I liked most about it was when they compared false friends to leaves.
It made me think of my true friends and how I’ve been friends with a few of them for so long. There are so many people that are now considered “leaves” because I don’t talk to them anymore.
